Questioning, seeking, I looked all around
For a self that was nowhere to be found
This “I” that I took myself to be
Was but a mist, an ephemeral sea
No thing contained it, no thought could grasp
This infinite awareness, more transparent than glass
Ever-present, silent, empty, and clear
The witness of all that might appear
No effort could touch it, no mind comprehend
The Suchness that has no name or end
Only by ceasing the search would it arise
The seer itself when the seeker dies
No answers contained it, concepts fell short
Of touching this mystery beyond all thought
Always right here, although never seen
Closer than close, but couldn’t be gleaned
Until inquiry revealed the primordial nature
Still presence behind all known phenomena
Sourceless source, foundationless base
Timeless awareness containing all space
No need to figure out, only to rest
As that untouched presence when all seeking has ceased
Thoughts come and go, no need to cling
Awareness reflecting awareness is the only thing
Identity lost and regained in this light
Revealing all objects and senses so bright
Interconnected as One, nothing left out
No longer divided by fear or by doubt
The path now clear in the timeless present
Awake, alive, real – my only essence
Peace beyond dreaming, love past comprehending
Home at last, the journey now ending
