Never Was “I” Ever Lost

Lost in a world of darkness,
I wandered aimlessly,
With eyes wide shut,
And a heart closed tightly.

But then came a glimmer,
A flicker of light,
A ray of hope,
That broke through the night.

Slowly, I opened my eyes,
And saw the world anew,
Colors vibrant,
And everything true.

I felt a rush of energy,
A surge of life,
As I shed the weight of the past,
And let go of strife.

The air was sweet,
And the breeze refreshing,
As I took my first steps,
Towards a path of healing.

I felt a sense of purpose,
A calling deep within,
As I embraced my true self,
And shed my skin.

No longer lost in darkness,
But awakened to the light,
I stood tall and strong,
Ready to take flight.

And so I soared,
On wings of hope and love,
Embracing every moment,
With grace from above.

The journey was not easy,
But the reward was great,
As I awakened to a new world,
And found my true fate.
